Did a great job, used high quality materials. Not cheap, but the workmanship is great and you can tell the improvement will age well.
In early 2017 I got 4 quotes for a flat roof with 3 skylights. Gucci & Son was 2nd highest price--a little on the expensive side, but not outrageous. Of the 4 companies we talked to, the expertise of 2 stood out above the others. Danny was one of those 2, and I chose him based on that expertise and a gut feeling. Danny told me what they'd do, how it was different from what others do, and why they do it that way, what it would cost, how long it would take. After we got the quotes, we scheduled the work with Gucci & Son. They were very professional. Arrived with a crew of workers on time on the scheduled day, did the work quickly and efficiently, answered a few questions I had, stopped all work at one point when I noticed what looked like a problem with one of the skylights from inside the house until we cleared up the problem (nothing to do with them), cleaned up after themselves, and came back later to finish part of the flashing that they hadn't been able to finish on the day they did the other work. The work looks great, and their attention to details is excellent. No leaks so far (I didn't expect any!). I'm very happy with the job they did, and would definitely hire them again. I showed the finished roof to a friend who is a retired machinist and handyman and he was very impressed with the quality of the work. Description of work: We needed a new rubber membrane roof on the back 1/2 of our house, including 3 skylights. No tear-off needed. They built up one section of the roof for proper drainage. Did the flashing at the edges of the roof and around the skylights, etc. Helped seal off an old (no longer used) chimney, etc.
Gucci roofing was a great customer service experience. Owner was easy to access and returned calls promptly. I felt like I got a great job for a fair price. They took loads of before and after pix, which I thought was awesome. Would easily use again.
